Against Flat Rock, a state-ranked team,
the Warriors played well through 4 innings. Then numerous
defensive errors caused a meltdown. Andrew Mielke had 2 hits and
an RBI to lead the Warriors. |

to go ahead 6-5 in the 7th inning. Clarenceville came back to tie

and had numerous chances to win. The game went 3 more innings
until Clarenceville scored with a play at the plate that scored the
runner from 2nd to win the game for Clarenceville. Ryan Walker,
Dave Stec, and James MacKenzie all had 2 hits. |

The Warriors gave up 6 runs in the first 3 innings. They
threatened in the final 3 innings but stranded a total of 7 base
runners. Leading the way was Andrew Mielke, who went 2 for 4 with
a 2B. Chris Ake was 2 for 4 with an RBI.
The Warriors won the second
game of the double header in dramatic fashion by scoring twice in the
bottom of the 7th. After a lead-off single by Adam Zehel, Chris
Ake sacrifice bunted to get Zehel over to 2nd. An infield hit by
Jae Ha followed by an error scored Zehel, & Ha took 2nd. Ryan
Baglow then doubled in Ha for the winning run. Leading the way
were Chris Ake, who was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored, and Ryan Baglow, who
was 2 for 3 with a 2B and 4 RBIs. Jae Ha was 2 for 2 with 2 walks
& 3 runs scored. Adam Zehel was 2 for 4 with 3 runs
scored. Baglow also picked up his 5th win of the year. Billy
Meier added 3 stolen bases for the day. |

North. In the other innings the Warriors played solid defense but

was 1 for 3 with a 2B. Adam Zehel added a single and a run scored

The Warriors saved
the best for last and scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th to tie the
game and send it into extra innings. Chris Ake doubled with 2 outs
and runners on 2nd & 3rd to tie the game at 9. Westland
defense came up huge in the top of the 8th. Andrew Mielke tripled
to lead off the bottom of the 8th, and Ryan Baglow singled him in to win
the game 10-9. Chris Ake was 4 for 5 with 2 2Bs & 4
RBIs. Nate Bachert was 3 for 4 with a 2B, an HR, and 2 RBIs.
Jae Ha went 3 for 5 with 2 RBIs. Billy Meier was 2 for 4 with 3
stolen bases. Baglow picked up his 4th win of the year, and the
Warriors won their 5th game overall.
The Warriors couldn't
stay up from their game-one win, and Thurston took advantage.
Leading the way was Adam Zehel, who was 2 for 3 with a 2B & a HR. |

Game by exploding with 11 runs in the 1st inning. The team was led

Mielke, who was 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs, and Adam Zehel, who was 2 for 4
with a 2B & an RBI. Ryan Baglow earned his 3rd win of the
year; he pitched all 5 innings, gave up only 2 hits, and struck out 3. |

The Warriors lost a tough one in extra innings after battling back from
an 8-2 deficit. They scored 4 runs in the 6th, capped off by Nate
Bachert's 2-run home run, and 2 more runs in the bottom with 2 outs to
tie the game and send it into extra innings. Inter-City scored on
a run in the top of the 8th, but the Warriors battled back again with 3
singles and 2 outs as Chris Ake singled in Aaron Derminer to tie the
game at 9. The Warriors threatened in the 10th with the winning
run at 2nd and only 1 out, but Inter-City held him there. The top
of the 11th saw Inter-City score an unearned run with 2 outs to
take a 10-9 lead. Once again the Warriors had a runner on
2nd with 1 out and couldn't get him home. Leading the way for the
Warriors were Nathan Bachert, who was 2 for 4 with a 2-run home run and
2 RBIs, and Ryan Baglow, who was 2 for 5 with 2 RBIs.
Game 2 was not nearly as
exciting as the first, as the Warriors couldn't seem to recharge their
emotions and bodies after the tough loss. Leading the way was Adam
Zehel, who went 2 for 4 with a double and was 4 for 9 on the day.
David Rider, Billy Meier, & Dan Krzyske also contributed hits for
the Warriors. The losses drop the Warriors to 2-6 for the year. |

out to a 9-3 lead but couldn't hold it as Christian tied the game in the
5th inning. The Warriors regained the lead in the bottom of the
5th, and Adam Zehel scored the eventual wining run. Ryan Baglow
pitched 2 & 2/3 innings of relief to earn the victory. Leading
the way offensively were Andrew Mielke, who went 1 for 4 with a 2-rbi
double, Nathan Bachert, who was 1 for 3 with an rbi single, & Derek
Fleetham, who was 1 for 4 with a 2-rbi single. Derek Fleetham also
scored 3 runs. The Warriors now improve to 2-1 on the year. |

Ha, who was 2 for 3 with 4 runs scored and 2 rbi. Adam Derminer
went 2 for 4 with a double, 3 runs scored, an an rbi. The Warriors

Warriors fall in Season Opener to Plymouth Christian. A 2-2 tie going into the
bottom of the fifth, PCA pushed across 4 runs (2 unearned) to take a 6-2 lead.
The Warriors threatened in the top of the 7th, Scoring one but left the bases
loaded in the end. Leading the way for the Warriors was Dan Abbott who was 1 for
2 with and RBI and Sam Ahlersmeyer went 1 for 3. Derek Fleetham pitched a strong

Eight errors proved to be too costly for the Warriors as they drop the home
conference opener to the Knights. Despite giving up five errors in the 1st four
innings, the Warriors only trailed 7-3. But the flood gates opened in the 6th
with the visiting Knights cashing in on three Warrior errors for seven runs.
Leading the way for the Warriors was Adam Zehel, who went 1 for 2 with two RBI's
and 4 stolen bases. Chris Ake went 1 for 3 with two doubles. Starting pitcher Ryan
Baglow went four innings, giving up seven runs, but only one run was earned.

Warriors give up five unearned runs in a one run loss to host North. The
Warriors threatened in the 5th and 6th innings but stranded the potential tying
run and a total of five runners. Leading the way for the Warriors was Brian
LeFevere going 1 for 1 with a base hit, two walks, and an RBI. Derek Fleetham went 1
for 3 and pitched well in the loss. He gave up only one earned run and striking
out four.

A great team effort propelled the Warriors to their first conference victory of
the year and their fist victory over Harper Woods since 2001. The Warriors were
led by Sam Ahlersmeyer who went 2 for 4, Chris ake who went 1 for 2 with a
double and an RBI. Derek Fleetham picked up the win, giving up three hits and
striking out six. Ryan Baglow came in relief of Fleetham, picking up the save,
The win improves the Warriors to 2-3 and 1-2 in the conference.

Warriors commit four errors in the 1st
inning, giving up four runs. The Warriors settled down after that but couldn't
come all the way back verse the host Cardinals. Billy Meier led the Warriors
with a double, and Ryan Baglow picked up two RBIs.

Warriors get up big and cruise to a victory over visiting Hamtramck. The
Warriors collected a season high fourteen hits in the win. Leading the way was
Sam Ahlersmeyer who went 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs, Chris Ake 2 for 3 with three runs
scored, and Dan Abbott went 2 for 3 with one RBI, two runs scored. Ryan Baglow
went 2 for 4 one RBI, two runs scored and Adam Zehel was 2 for 4 with four runs
scored and an RBI.

Warriors lose a tough one to Clawson as their seventh inning rally falls short.
Despite giving up seven runs in the first three innings, the Warrior defense
tightened up and held Clawson scoreless the rest of the game. Offensively the
Warriors were led by Adam Zehel who went 3 for 4 and stole two bases to increase
his season total to twelve. CJ Garber and Sam Ahlersmeyer each added two hits in
the loss.

be enough offense for the Cranes to claim victory. Offensively, Chris Ake, Billy
Meier, and Ryan Baglow each had a hit. Baglow pitched a strong game, giving up

Warriors withstood late Trojan rally as Dan Abbott threw out the trying run
attempting to steal second. Offensively, the Warriors were led by Chris Ake, who
went 2 for 4, Adam Zehel added a double, and Derek Fleethem helped his own cause
with and RBI single in the 3rd. Derek Fleetham pitched all seven innings,
striking out ten in route to the victory.
