Lutheran Westland clinched their very first playoff berth in school history with a huge defeat over Star Academy. Six forced turnovers for Star Academy left the Warriors with control of the ball for most of the game. The Warriors racked up nearly 400 yards of total offense, highlighted by an 87 yard touchdown pass from Matt Sylvester to Bobby Miller early in the 3rd quarter. |

Lutheran Westland fought hard to win in their first round of the playoffs but fell short to Melvindale Academy. The whole team fought hard to stop Melvindale from scoring, but the quarterback was too good and was able to make complete throws and runs for touchdowns. Overall, the Warriors tried their best and was amazing all year by being the first football team in school history to make it into the playoffs. |
