Saturday Sept. 6 - Oakland Christian Tournament (V) The Warriors finish 5-0-1 on the day and beat the host Lancers for 1st place of the Oakland Christian Invitational. The Warriors beat Franklin Road Christian, Lutheran North in pool play and knocked off Country Day and North again on their way to the finals.
Thursday Sept. 11 - Greenhills (A) Westland-25/25/18/26 Greenhills-15/17/25/24 Warriors win tough one on the road behold strong defense and timely offense.

Westland-25/25/25 Clarenceville-12/6/18 Warriors win their 2nd Conference game of the season, 1st home conference game against Clarenceville. The Warriors were led by great defense and solid team play. With the win, the warriors improve to 16-4-3 on the season.

Westland-25/25/25 Cranbrook-10/22/21 The Warriors take sole possession of 1st place after a solid performance over the visiting Cranes of Cranbrook. The win improves the Warriors to 30-5-4 on the year and a perfect 6-0 in the conference. A special thanks to all those who came to support the team last night and to the cheerleaders for leading the fans in cheers.

With a trip to the quarterfinals on the line, these two teams came ready to play. The Warriors got out to an early lead but Liggett came back to tie it. Extra innings again, Westland was able to score one run and win the Region.

The Warriors dodged many a bullet and couldn't get the bats going as they stranded 6 runners in the final 3 innings. The Warriors could not capitalize and lost in the quarterfinals.

Fumbles plaque the Warriors as 3 miscues lead to 3 Crusader touchdowns. The Warriors fought all the way to the end but ran out of time falling to 0-2 on the season.
The Warriors get in the win column for the first time in 2011 in dramatic fashion scoring in the last 2 minutes to take their first and only lead of the game. Defense held strong in the end to secure the win.
The Warriors fought hard all game keeping the score to 0-0 until the fourth quarter where the Knights scored a touchdown and took advantage of an interception and scored another 6 points.

The Warriors picked up their first conference win of the year behind timely offense and defense. The Warriors look to make it two wins in a row when the Lancers of Oakland Christian pay a visit to Tuomi Field on 9/30.
The homecoming win set the Warriors at two and three at homecoming against the lancers in the last three years. With the Warriors starting off strong with a few touchdowns in the first quarter, the lancers never had a chance to come back.
With going into halftime at 7-6, Warrior lead, the Warriors lit a fire under their tails and scored another 28 points with Martin Kemp scoring four touchdowns to project them to a huge victory that sets them two wins away from a playoff berth.
With the Warriors inching closer to a playoff berth, this game was of much importance. Parkway would fight hard to keep Lutheran Westland out of the playoffs. But with great defense and a few touchdowns, Parkway was handed a defeat! The Warriors are one win away from clinching a playoff spot!
Lutheran Westland clinched their very first playoff berth in school history with a huge defeat over Star Academy. Six forced turnovers for Star Academy left the Warriors with control of the ball for most of the game. The Warriors racked up nearly 400 yards of total offense, highlighted by an 87 yard touchdown pass from Matt Sylvester to Bobby Miller early in the 3rd quarter.

vs Melvindale Academy of Business and Technology - 46
Lutheran Westland fought hard to win in their first round of the playoffs but fell short to Melvindale Academy. The whole team fought hard to stop Melvindale from scoring, but the quarterback was too good and was able to make complete throws and runs for touchdowns. Overall, the Warriors tried their best and was amazing all year by being the first football team in school history to make it into the playoffs.
