The Warriors won the Team State meet at Gobles. Last year the Warriors were runners-up but this year they came through with the victory. The Warriors finished with 962.5 points and finished 1st of 10 teams. It was a great team effort by everyone that participated in the meet.

"All the pieces fell into place for the
Lutheran Westland boys track team as the Warriors brought home the Division IV
state championship trophy Saturday from Lowell by scoring 60 points. … 'We
knew halfway through the year we had the people who could win it,' Unger said.
