The Warriors win their season opener over the host Eagles of Plymouth Christian. Leading the way for the Warriors was Becca Refenes with 13 kills, 5 solo blocks, Katey Ramthun with 9 kills, 1 solo block, and Myrian Storck with 6 kills. Lauren Gieschen tallied 18 assists and Julie Jongsma added 12. Abi Gieschen led the way in serving, racking up 16 service points with 5 ace serves.

The Warriors placed third in their pool, making it into the silver division of the tournament. The girls battled through Northwest and Shrine to become the Silver Division Champions. The Warriors started strong, winning their pool and getting into the Gold Division. Getting past Monroe Jefferson in the quarterfinal, the warriors met Livonia Churchill in the semifinal. They lost in two matches, but got third place overall in the tournament. Leaders on the day were: Becca Refenes, 51 kills, 27 touches and 23 solo blocks, 18 service points with 4 aces, and 27 digs. The Lady Warriors season came to an end Saturday, losing in 5 to the #2 ranked Hillsdale Academy in the Regional Finals. Trailing 20-22 in the 4th game, the Warriors rattled off 5 straight points to force a final deciding game 5. Hillsdale pulled away late to claimed the title. The Warriors finish the year 28-5-5. Thanks to all who supported the team this year!
