The neighboring Hawks of Huron Valley stuck with the Warriors for one quarter, but then the Warriors came out shooting well and they never looked back. Their defense caused many turnovers, and ,for the third time this season, they held their opponent to under forty points.

Starting in the first quarter, the Warriors were outscored thoughout the entire game and never gained the lead. They gave up their home season high, 66 points, and they dropped the noncoference matchup.

The Warriors shot poorly and came out flat, and they never were able to recover from it. Crestwood shot almost 70 percent from the field, causing the Warriors to drop the nonconference game.

The neighboring Hawks of Huron Valley came out to play Wednesday night in the District Semifinal game. The Warriors had already beaten them twice during the regular season, and this playoff game would mark the third. It was a much closer game than the other two, but the Warriors were still able to prevail and move on to the Disctrict Final game on Friday.

DISTRICT FINAL

The season came to an end for the Lutheran High Westland Warriors when they lost in the district final to a talented Westside Christian team. The Warriors led after the first quarter, but a one point second quarter put them deep in the hole to their opponents. They were down by double digits at halftime, and the deficit only increased.
